The SW12M is the latest generation of Rasor’s bench cutting machines. This 2nd generation Rasor round knife carpet cutter stands out due to its innovative motor housing design. Unlike other bench cutters, the SW12M features a centrally positioned motor housing, supported by a rear-mounted foot behind the blade. This unique design evenly distributes shearing stress and movement force across both sides of the cutter, ensuring an exceptionally straight and smooth cut.

Powerful & efficient:  The SW12M is just as powerful as round knife Eastman Cutters, only more refined and more lightweight.  The significant cost savings provides a tremendous option for carpet cutting workrooms and OEM's looking to remain efficient and cut costs. 

To prevent material winding—especially with tough fibers—the half-free blade design keeps both sides unobstructed. This makes the SW12M ideal for cutting all carpet styles as well as composite materials such as glass fiber and Kevlar, synthetic turf, as well as soft materials up to 50mm thick.

Equipped with a powerful 350W motor and a bronze/steel coupling gear, the SW12M delivers high torque combined with low RPM, allowing it to cut through challenging materials like rubber, plastics, carpets, and industrial flooring with ease. Additionally, the push-button sharpening system enables quick, on-the-spot blade sharpening in under 10 seconds—without needing to remove the knife.
