The NC PBTT industrial blind-stitch sewing machine sews wide border tapes to the perimeter of custom rugs. It’s the industry’s only portable blind-stitch unit that is built on a carpet sewing machine. The NC Portable Wide Border Machine is an industrial double puller strong enough to handle dense, tough backed carpets. It allows you to show up to 6 inches on the carpet surface. This unit sews the wide border edging down with a blind stitch. After it’s sewn, you simply fold it over and glue on the back. Mitered carpet corners can of course be generated. The demand for wide borders has become prevalent worldwide. Wide carpet borders with a blind stitch command anywhere from $6-15 per foot.
